Happy New Year!

Be safe if you drink don’t drive. Looking forward to a great new year ahead. I have a few things I should add to my new years resolutions. This year if I make any of them formal I will stick too them 100% for sure. Maybe I will give it some thought and consider posting them on here. Then maybe I could post an update on progress every so often. Or maybe not.

Bush defends terror

It seems Bush has the attitude that it is ok to fight terror with terror. He wants it to be legal to torture terrorists. Nothing like fighting fire with fire an eye for an eye and all that. This is very dangerous and removes the United States from the high moral ground. I think he sees it like so what if they torture our troops they volunteered and they will be treated badly anyway because the enemy doesn’t play by the rules. Not a good day for America when we reduce our tactics to that of our enemies. Bush is giving the US a very bad image and doesn’t seem to care. It is his way or the highway. I recall him stating in the past that we are acting within the law and don’t need any new laws. A democratic sweep this fall followed by probing investigations will surely put him in his place. Which in my humble opinion would be out on his ass.
