Classic Republican Wisdom

John McCain cancelled a fundraiser, Texas Republican Clayton Williams, made the joke during his campaign for governor against Democrat Ann Richards in 1990, that women should give in to rape.
He also compared rape to the weather, saying, “As long as it’s inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it.”
Williams compared Richards to the cattle on his ranch, saying he would “head her and hoof her and drag her through the dirt.”
I wonder how long it will take McCain to find out about the internet? A quick Google search for Clayton Williams would have prevented the problem.

Stephanie Miller on MSNBC - Morning TV

I think she has done a great job filling in for Imus who was recently fired for his severe case of cranial rectal inversion. I had never heard of her before and I am not aware of her radio showing airing in my area. I hope MSNBC decides to offer her a permanant position in the mornings, and if so I hope she accepts. If not I hope a local radio station will pick up her show. I can’t be as sure I would listen to the radio in the mornings but I have no doubt I would watch her on MSNBC. Otherwise I may stop watching MSNBC TV in the mornings unless they find a suitable replacement for Imus. My vote goes to Stephanie Miller hopefully I am not the only one that feels this way and Dan Abrams will make her an offer she can’t refuse.

This year if I make any of them formal I will stick too them 100% for sure. Maybe I will give it some thought and consider posting them on here.
