A healthy green lawn

Having a healthy green lawn is fairly simple.

Primary components

  1. Grass - Choosing the correct variety for your area is always the first step.
  2. Soil - Know your soil and take steps to improve it short and/or long term.
  3. Sun - While some grass varieties will do better than others in less sunlight, Having adaquate sun is vital to grass health.
  4. Water - Watering or irrigation to supplement rainfall.

Once you have a lawn established your work has only begun. To maintain lawn health the typical lawn will require, fertilizing, weed control, insect control, regular mowing, and watering as needed.
